Baba Foundation is supporting for education of the needy children since a decade. Major thematic area remains promoting quality education, child protection and waste management and go green. BFN, has achieved nearly all milestone scheduled to be completed during the reporting period.

A total of 442 students were supported education materials, uniform, bag, shoes to reduce the burden of education to their family. These children are from ultra-poor family who enjoy the rights to education. In this course, we have collaborated with 20 government schools. The health camp was conducted to provide dental service among the children in coordination with Gandaki Medical college and Kantipur dental college.

The go green campaign paced through waste management awareness and plantation of ornamental plants in city and highway. Similarly, dustbins, waste bins and compost bin were distributed to form habits of good citizen. These bins were supported and placed at public places, schools, hospitals, business complex and government offices. A series of awareness events, day celebration, rally and arts competition among youths were held to create awareness in mass volume.

We believe that community development is achieved through active involvement of all stakeholders, community, and government agencies. The organization will continue working with the poor and vulnerable community in the future as well. We appreciate our partnership with Rotary Clubs of Newroad Pokhara.
